#Free ilda files how to
I suspect the ftp is still there for this community to share/swap but being a complete newbie to this forum (and the laser show community) I have no idea how to become a part of the community to get access to the ftp or some ILDA files I also saw a reference about the FTP now being "locked down", which is understandable as I guess the community does not want people simply plundering the hours (and hour and hours) of work that has gone in to creating (I have spent hours trying to suss out SHOWEDITOR and have nothing to show for it!) I did find lots of references to the FTP, and even got to a login screen, but the logins I found were all old and didn't work I am not wanting to sync with music or create lightshows - I just want some themed images showing on the wall during different parties throughout the yearĬan anyone point a complete newbie in the right direction? I am not sure I have the time (or more importantly the skill!) to create my own animations so would prefer a library of images I can use to build my "shows" I am looking for somewhere where I can download/buy a library of ILDA graphics/animations that I can use (eg Halloween, Christmas, Beach Party, Birthday etc.) - similar to buying a clipart disc for desktop publishing

I also found some free "lightshows" on the LASERWORLD website - but these play in the SHOWEDITOR software but I am unable to convert the frames into ILD format (I am assuming they are protected?) I found some ILDA files on this site but they didn't seem to work with my laser prg file (it was the "ghost" Halloween one from here: ) I need to put something together for a halloween party and found a single free ILDA file on the internet that actually worked when I loaded it into the projector via the SD card and a. I was feeling quite alone trying to get my head around everything as I could not find much guidance - and then I found this site I tried some simple text but can't even get that to work I understand that it plays ILDA files from the SD card but I am having real difficulties getting the LASERWORLD SHOWEDITOR to work

To use the full version features of Laserworld Showeditor you need a Laserworld Swhoeditor Set with License (which is on the Interface). DMX is a very basic protocol and just sends triggers. Your DMX interface has nothing to do with Showeditor. Instructions on how to use the export feature are here: It is rather easy to create own content with Laserworld Showeditor. They would not look that good when played back from SD-card anyway. The free shows that come with Showeditor are designed for direct playback with Laserworld Showeditor. It also works with content you have export rights for. So if you create your own pattern, frames, figures or shows, these can be exported to ILDA. The ILDA export feature only works with own created content. In my opinion they are not free if you need to buy a dongle. After all they are labelled as FREE demo's. I just want to know how using the show editor free version I can play them on my laser. Some of the free demo's look good in the show editor player. I also found a load more free shows on CNET labelled 1.1 showeditor pack. I am struggling to export any of the free demo shows to SD card. even free demo files.ġ) will this dongle error still happen if I connect my pro800 to a dmx interface and try the software.will it work or a is dongle still required?Ģ) Can the free shows be converted by laserworld placed in the download section and remain protected so we can play them on our devices e.g. So I have no dongle so by default all files are protected by the show editor in the free version. Well the software show editor is a free download anyway. PRO800 claimed to come with free software. What I am trying to do is convert some of the free shows to ILDA from the download section to an SD card/ILDA.

However on a PC they load into showeditor and can be seen in directory listings. I did notice some files on the SD card are not played back or listed as available when using the onboard menu's. Liking the built in patterns and content of the SD CARD. I am quite a newbie, Purchased an PRO800RGB a month or so ago.
